Ready-made punched fittings for sockets. The shaft is adapted so that these fit over, and the blade comes out of the hole. The metal protects the shaft material and makes the shaft stronger.
Comes with standard hole (approx. 3x19mm), standard hole with pointed bottom and narrow hole (approx. 2mm) and is available in different sizes and metals.
Brass is the yellowish variety, copper-nickel is the shinier variety and bronze is slightly browner.
