Shank subject of Myreik, also known as Bog Oak. This material has lain in bog for up to 5,000 years, and has been protected from decay by lack of oxygen. The material has undergone the first steps in the fossilization process, and has acquired a dark brown to black colour. Stabilized with resin, waterproof, solid and colour-resistant.
The shaft blank is approx. 25x40x125mm
A solid shaft blank, completely filled with hardening resin that provides a very comfortable and strong shaft that does not need either oil or other demanding maintenance. The stabilization has been carried out by Raffir Aps.
In contrast to numbered shank items, you will not necessarily get what is pictured here, but one of a similar grade. If you are not satisfied, it is perfectly fine if you want to return it! Then we will be able to help you find something you like better!
