The material is hard and strong, and gives a bit of heft to the shaft which gives a strong feeling of quality! Shaping fiberglass is done well with most tools, but will put more wear and tear on the tool than, for example, wood or resin. Remember that the result is only as good as the material you start with, and here you have top shelf!
Pre-cut and shaped flat for easy installation on full-tang knives. Can also be easily cut into smaller pieces to use as inserts with other materials, such as stabilized wood, brass, g10, birch or similar.
As with other materials, we recommend dust masks and safety glasses when grinding/processing.
