NOVACURE transparent, acrylic-based stabilization resin

Developed in collaboration with one of Germany's leading resin manufacturers - Made in Germany

What is NOVACURE stabilization liquid?

NOVACURE is a thermosetting acrylic resin that can be used to stabilize wood and porous materials in a transparent or colored manner for further processing. It is highly fluid and can penetrate wood using a vacuum chamber and fill all pores. After this, the workpiece is baked or boiled to harden the resin.

After stabilization, the blanks can be processed excellently with standard woodworking tools, in the same way as hardwoods.

Why use NOVACURE?

  • Wood stabilized with NOVACURE becomes dimensionally and surface stable and practically does not absorb moisture.
  • It can be machined, glued, painted or treated with surface products like hardwood.
  • NOVACURE-stabilized wood is not heat-sensitive and does not clump even at high temperatures, which can occur during sanding.
  • NOVACURE stabilization resin has little odor, and the cured material is almost odorless.
  • NOVACURE can be colored with the corresponding color concentrates
  • Unused resin can be reused

Packaging size:

Supplied in a 3kg plastic container with a screw cap, and a small bottle of activator.

NOTE: The resin must be activated before first use! This is done by mixing an activator that is included in a small plastic bottle.
